  • 2 ripe tomatoes

  • 1/2 cucumber

  • 1 small beetroot

  • 1 stalk of celery

  • 1/2 lemon

  • A small handful of fresh parsley

  • 1/2-inch piece of fresh ginger

  • A pinch of sea salt

  • Optional: a dash of cayenne pepper for added heat


  • Wash all the vegetables and fruit thoroughly.

  • Core the tomatoes and cut them into quarters.

  • Peel and chop the cucumber and beetroot into small pieces.

  • Chop the celery into smaller sections.

  • Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.

  • Peel the ginger and cut it into smaller chunks.

  • Add the prepared ingredients in a juicer or blender - tomatoes, cucumber, beetroot, celery, parsley, ginger, and lemon juice.

  • Process everything until you have a smooth consistency.

  • If using a blender, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to obtain the juice.

  • Add a pinch of sea salt and a dash of cayenne pepper to enhance the flavor if desired.

  • Stir the juice well to combine all the flavors.

  • Pour the tomato detox juice into a glass and serve it fresh.
